Stroke care

By your side for every step.

Your home to
rebuild in

Forest Home offers more than a place to stay. If you or your loved one has recently experienced a stroke and needs support, our team offers tailored care and encouragement. We strive to support not only our residents' health but also their independence and emotional well-being, helping them rebuild their confidence.

How we support stroke recovery

Care plans

We create tailored care plans in partnership with occupational therapists and physiotherapists, focusing on building strength and supporting daily independence.

Daily support

Our caring team offers constant encouragement and practical help with daily tasks, helping residents regain confidence and maintain their routines.

Supporting cognition

We offer tailored activities and speech and language therapist referrals if needed to help residents strengthen memory, improve speech and stay mentally active and engaged.

Mental health care

Recovery is about more than physical care. We offer daily companionship, activities and social opportunities to help reduce isolation and support emotional wellbeing.

Looking for gentle, personalised stroke support? Reach out today— we’re always happy to help.

When additional arrangements are needed

While transport to external appointments or outings isn’t included as part of our stroke care, our friendly team is always here to help. We can assist with arranging local transport options, making it easier for residents to attend appointments and enjoy links with the wider community.
