Our compassionate end-of-life care

Companionship
When family can’t be there, we are. With friendly faces, gentle conversations and a reassuring presence, we offer daily companionship to help residents feel connected and cared for.

A community team
With years of experience, we work closely alongside GPs, community nurses and other local professionals to ensure every resident receives seamless, well-rounded care and support.

Transparent support
We believe in open, honest communication. Families are kept informed and involved at every stage, with clear updates, realistic expectations and the option to include GPs and community nurses in care discussions.

After care
Our support doesn’t end with care. We guide families through the next steps, help manage closure and offer ongoing access to our team and community resources with empathy.

What falls outside our care
While Forest Home does not provide advanced medical care or surgical treatments, residents are never without support. Thanks to our close relationship with the local GP surgery just across the road, regular weekly visits ensure medical needs are met quickly and personally.
